Can I include my own sponsors and advertising in the live stream?
You can integrate your own sponsors and advertising partners directly into the live stream as so-called in-stream advertising. This is done directly on site via the live streaming software or the SETV Streamer app in the form of graphics, image or video files, which thus become part of the live streaming signal. The following must be observed when inserting content: In-stream advertising must not exceed 10 minutes per hour of broadcast. Infomercials are therefore not permitted. Advertising must be easily recognisable as such and separated from editorial content. It must therefore be distinguished from your sporting content by visual or acoustic means. References to your own products and services also constitute advertising. A sponsor acknowledgement also counts as advertising. The sponsor of a programme or a broadcast-style video must be identified so that viewers or users are made aware that the interests of a third party who has co-financed the programme are at play. A sponsorship notice must be of reasonable brevity; it must therefore not be confused with a commercial, either in terms of length or appearance. A sponsorship notice may be shown at the beginning and end of the programme, as well as before and after each advertising break within the programme. The sponsor may also be mentioned in programme listings for sponsored programmes. Labelling is particularly helpful in making advertising recognisable. For online media, the media authorities’ guidelines provide advice on the appropriate labelling of advertising.
