How can I test my signal in advance?

Once you have created a live stream, you can carry out signal tests at any time. Go to the relevant livestream via your profile (menu item ‘Media Library’) and select it. To the right of the livestream, you will find the option ‘Manage livestream’. There you will find the test player (this is the player you will find under the menu item ‘RTMP signal’). Use your software to send the signal to the livestream’s streaming URL. If everything is set up correctly, a green tick will appear shortly to indicate that the RTMP signal is present, and the test player will then load. It may take up to 60 seconds for an image to appear. Please wait for this time to elapse. You will now see your test image, which you are currently sending to the streaming URL. Once your test is complete, simply stop the signal in your streaming software. If this worked, your test was successful. If you follow the same procedure for the actual live stream, you can be sure that everything is set up correctly.
