How can I test my signal in advance?

Once you have created a livestream, you can run a signal test at any time to check your settings. The process is the same for RTMP and SRT signals.

In your profile, open ‘Media Library’, select the relevant livestream and click ‘Manage Livestream’. You will find the test player in the streaming signal section.

Then start the transmission in your streaming software. As soon as we receive the signal correctly, a green check mark will appear and the test player will load automatically. It may take up to 60 seconds for the image to appear.

Once your image is visible in the test player, you can check whether the video and audio are being transmitted correctly. After the test, stop the transmission in your streaming software.

Important: You cannot switch directly between RTMP and SRT. If you want to change the signal type, first stop the transmission and wait five minutes before sending the signal again using the other protocol.
