How do signal transmission and monitoring work?
For your live stream, you’ll need to send an RTMP or SRT signal from your streaming software to Sporteurope.TV. Before going live, you can test the signal in the ‘Manage Live Stream’ section to check that it’s being received correctly. Please allow plenty of time for this.
SRT can ensure a more stable transmission, particularly in difficult network conditions, but, depending on your setup, it requires slightly more technical configuration than RTMP. If your existing RTMP setup is working reliably, you can continue to use it. Please test SRT thoroughly before using it in production for the first time. When making your choice, also check whether your league or association has specific requirements.
